I bought some prime, bone-in rib-eyes from Costco a few weeks ago. I grilled them on a small weber grill over really hot coals so that the fat and marbling became charred, then I moved them to a slightly cooler spot on the grill to finish cooking for a total cooking time of about 6-7 minutes per side. I like mine a little less than medium. I would say to cook yours for about 8 min for you and 10-12 for your hubby. I marinated them for a few hours in red wine, garlic, pepper and salted after I turned them over. Don't forget to let them rest for about 10 min. Enjoy-you lucky dog!
References :
First of all, well done WILL ruin them. But I digress. Remove from fridge as soon as you get home, let them come to room temp for awhile (30 min or so) unwrapped.

I'd seson w/ nothing more than kosher salt and FBGPepper. Add a wee bit of oil to a screamiing hot skillet, slap those bad-boys in there, and dont' mess with them until they release themselves. (start your DH's steak early, and keep it in longer than yours. you may want to flip his twice so it's good an ruined.)
